one of favorite things is treasure hunting and vintage finds, especially when it involves clutches and jewelry.  i love finding art deco and vintage clutches and jewelry pieces that add a pop or color or print to spice up my wardrobe. 

feeling blue

i think my favorite color at the moment is blue, especially when's it's navy and black in the same print. i've never been a fan of light blue, and baby blue makes me want to gag, but navy blue is one of my favorite colors. 

hats and scarves

i wish i could pull off wearing a scarf and hat at the same time, but i feel like i have to choose one. and usually my choice is a hat, because i usually feel like a flight attendant when i tie a scarf around my neck, although i love it in this look with the hat and tribal jewelry. i'm looking forward to wearing lots and lots of hats this season.

effortless glamour

i'm a big fan of the blog atlantic pacific, and i've been wanting to re-create this look that blair posted about.  and on friday night i felt like putting a more casual look together for a night out with friends, so i thought it was the perfect opportunity to put my own spin on this look. i started with my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans, which seemed perfect after a long week of blazers and work attire. a j.crew sweatshirt with a french phrase on the front, suede wedges, oversized vintage circle earrings, suede wedges, a calf hair bag, and of course a parisian bun.  what i love most about this look was that it oozes effortless glamour.

the stripes, calf hair bag, gloves, leather accents, and the black coat, i want everything in this look.

i was shopping for trousers for work, and i stumbled across this bag, which caught my eye because i've been wanting a bag with a little bit of fur (fake fur). this bag is actually much larger in person. it measures 6 x 8 x 2, which makes i the ideal bag for a night out.

i tried a similar hat like this one on this weekend at chanel, and fell in love with it. i definitely want to get a wide brim hat this season, and i think i want it in black, because it goes with everything and black is always timeless.

this look incorporates a lot of things i love. one, relaxed fit denim. two, a chanel inspired jacket (and one day i hope my chanel inspired jacket is a real CHANEL jacket). three, nude pumps. four, statement neckalce. five, envelope clutch.

after seeing this gorgeous leather dress, i've decided to add leather dress to monday's post. i would love to find a long sleeve leather dress paired with a statement necklace. but i could lose the red clutch and yellow shoes, and maybe do black ankle boots and a metallic clutch.

i'm so excited for the leather trend this fall. i'm hoping to pickup a pair of leather pants, jacket, or maybe a skirt. i love how leather makes any outfit look tougher, while adding a little edge to it.

luckily the calf hair trend is continuing through the fall 2012, because i have collected my fair share of calf hair accessories, and quite frankly i hope the trend never ends.

i love gold accents, and really anything that's gold, which is why i love this gold bath tub. i would love a bathroom with a gold bath tub and gold hardware and fixtures throughout the bathroom. 

hector's headscarves

i don't think anyone will appreciate this post more than my friend hector. he definitely inspired me to wear headscarves more often, because they scream effortless glamour. i collect scarves, and i love finding scarves that are the perfect size to wear as headscarves. a headscarf with a  messy bun is perfect for a day of errands or a lazy day around the house.
