double strand necklace

when i have a really rough week at work i always feel like i've earned something special to buy myself. this week i "earned" a new j.crew neckalce. i have been eyeing the double strand giraffe necklace, and so has my friend jill who has impeccable taste, so we both decided to get it as a friendship necklace. i love that it's a neutral color, and the giraffe makes it such a special piece. 

dress up

i need to add to my dress collection, i would love to get more casual dresses/everyday dresses. i love this color block dress, especially paired with the nude pumps. i would love to find some fun colorful dresses to add to my closet.

one couch, coming right up

i love this dip-dyed couch, the only other thing i like in this room is the stump side table, but everything else i hate. i would love to see that dip-dyed couch in a room with some color, either in a navy blue, cobalt blue, and blue/green color story or in an all white room. i want this couch! i hope to use it on my next project.

i've always been a huge fan of chanel, but recently i've decided that if i die tomorrow and i don't have a chanel bag then all my hard work and money in the bank will be for nothing. this way if i die tomorrow, i will have a gorgeous chanel bag on my shoulder. haha. now my only dilemma is deciding which one i want.

the first time i saw the popova desk from de sousa hughes was at this year's san francisco decorator showcase, and i fell in love with it. if i had a home office, and i was decorating it, this is what i would want, but probably couldn't afford. haha. i love a good statement piece, whether it's a necklace, a pair of earrings, or a desk for my office!
