i love everything crystal and stone at the moment. i picked up this great crystal at a vintage shop the other day.  i'm planning on using it as a paper weight for my desk. but, i would love to find some pretty rings like this!

fall boots

one of my favorite accessories for fall is over the knee chunky wool socks. i love them with my boots and i love them more with my rain boots.  i went vintage/thrift store shopping over the weekend and scored the most amazing pair of navy plaid rain boots. they were the only pair in the store and in size 7! completely meant to be mine!

i went to the bvlgari exhibit over the weekend at the de young museum and i couldn't believe how many pieces were in the collection. the exhibit filled three rooms of wall-to-wall jewels.  although there were so many pieces that i loved in the exhibit, the elizabeth taylor collection was one of my favorites.

one of my favorite new york hotels is the crosby street hotel because of the interior designer kit kemp who's responsible for all the interiors in the hotel.  from the foyer, to the sitting room, and each hotel room that has a different design. i love the custom headboard with chelsea editions fabric. it's simply stunning!
